Have Yourself A Merry [Little Plaid Dress] Christmas

There's just something about the month of December that makes me feel a little happier and a little more grateful for every person and thing in my life. This time of year really does just place a permanent smile on my face and I'm so sad my favorite time of the year is almost coming to a close.

While it doesn't get super cold here in Florida and I'll never have a white Christmas as long as I live here, I will take any chance I get to dress a little more season appropriate. I have been eyeing this KJP Cozy Cabin Flannel Dress since they launched and Santa ended up dropping it by my house last night. I LOVE the colors of this one and I think it's just the perfect little plaid dress. While this exact color is currently sold out, there are three other colors you can choose from and KJP is pretty good about restocking items. 

I paired the dress with The Downtown Field Jacket from J.Crew which I love because it comes in regular, petite, and tall. I'm 6'2" and the tall large fits me perfectly! My pearl bow earrings are also KJP and I don't think I've ever been more in love with an earring in my life. Bows and pearls?! Yes, please. My velvet, lace-up heels are from Nordstrom Rack and they're the brand Reaction Kenneth Cole. My exact pair is no longer available but there are tons of super similar pairs available. This JustFab Leander Bootie is the most similar pair I can find online.
